Nusrat Ashfaq graduated from NED University in 1998 with a degree in Civil Engineering. She worked as a structural design engineer with Meinhardt Group from 1998 until 2003 in Pakistan and Singapore before moving to the US. Since, she has been a homemaker, a volunteer, and an artist. Nusrat loves photography and is a graphic designer. She has been volunteering for NEDA-DC for the past eleven years in various capacities. Nusrat lives in Maryland with her husband, Ashfaq Ahmed, who is also a NEDian, her three children, and cat.
